Tree Planting Project

Pringle Creek in Fairview Park
Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District, in collaboration with Willamette Univeristy's Ecology Club, friends of Abiqua school, current owners of the Fairview property and members of the Friends of Pringle Creek , is sponsoring a restoration of Pringle Creek....the future site of Abiqua school's outdoor classroom. The funding is through a $5,000 matching grant awarded to Fairview Center for Sustainability.
700 hundred 1 gallon size native plants will be placed and planted on the Strong Road buffer strip of Pringle Creek (the North end of the property-closest to the airport) from 9:00AM until finished.......rain or shine! next Sat. March 6th.
If you have an hour or two to share, please bring gloves and a shovel and we will supply the rest. Beverage and snacks will be provided!
