I am the Accountant for Abiqua School. I prepare the monthly financial statements, process monthly family billings, post accounts receivable and prepare deposits for the school. My responsibilities also include preparing the budget, preparing for the annual audit, accounting for and supporting various fundraising activities (annual giving, annual auction, capital campaign, class fundraising), payroll and benefits administration, human resources, including annual employee contracts and pay schedules, insurance, tax reporting, banking, and paying Abiqua's bills.
I love the variety of work my position provides, and I enjoy working with the staff and families at Abiqua. Prior to working at Abiqua School, I worked at Corvallis School District and Linn-Benton Community College. I have also held accounting positions in the agriculture, high tech, and airline industries.

very large. I am the tenth child in a family of thirteen children. I have one child and two grandchildren. I have dual American and Irish citizenship.

gardening, knitting, sewing and traveling.
I Love Abiqua School Because:
the environment is so friendly and helpful. Abiqua values family life and allows me to have a flexible schedule so I can both work and spend time with my family.
